Kim Kardashian has reportedly been working on a prenuptial agreement with fiancé Kris Humphries.
The reality star and her basketball player lover have allegedly opted to protect their respective fortunes ahead of their wedding this summer.
Sources told TMZ that the couple have openly stated to friends
that an agreement would be "the smart thing to do", with Kardashian acknowledging that her late father Robert, a renowned attorney, would have insisted on it. Kardashian's wealth has reportedly been valued at $35m, while Humphries rakes in $3.2m a year with the New Jersey Mets and is worth an estimated $8m.
Kardashian previously confessed that she knew Humphries was "the one" soon after they began dating.
The 30-year-old socialite also spoke of her desire to outdo Prince William and Kate Middleton's nuptials.
